What's in your Fridge? A photo essay.

This is what you will find in our refrigerator. An assortment of juices, water, 1% fat milk, some cans of corn, baked beans, sour cream, potatoes, eggs, strawberries and mayonaiise are your typical. Of course there just HAS to be vegetable stock as well, that along with Coke Zero which my K-bear thinks is gross. What's in your refrigerator?

I also received a wonderful pretty package from the UPS man today. Seeing him before he saw me, I pressed the entrance buzzer immediately to give him plenty of time to come through. Wait a couple seconds, a short yet long elevator ride and ta-da, our doorbell rings with a joyful young lady with puppy dog eyes and waiting to sign off on the package/s!

What did I order? Wait and see! ;)

The things you'll find at Walmart Part 1

I think I'm going to make a series on this:- just because I find the quirkiest things whenever we pop into Wal-Mart and for those Aussies who aren't familiar with the Huge Chain Store, I bet you'll find some surprises too.

Stay Tuned for more....

The Working Mother

Gosh I've been working non-stop lately. After accepting a new position as a Virtual Assistant, I've been able to work from home and be with my Son every day. Though it can be hard to do both, looking after Evi and working my butt off are definitely things I wouldn't ever replace. But I'm proud to say I have a miracle baby who doesn't mind Mummy being at the laptop for hours as he rolls around on his blankie playing with his teething toys or sitting so proudly in his Bumbo while practicing his talking skills and watching Hey Arnold, Blues Clues and Arthur.

But it doesn't end there, not only did I accept a position as a Virtual Assistant but I've also been given a position as a Photographer for a leading Entertainment Company which I am in love with and work during the weekends-so much fun! Such joy it is to be a working Mother! But I kid you not, being a Mother alone is a full-time job. I myself prefer to look at Motherhood, as a privilege, a privilege to wake up in the morning, spend time with the most adorable investment in life, be able to support him and see him grow before my eyes.

Oh my Son, how Mummy Loves you.

Coming of Age

Lately to sooth his tiny little teeth peeping through his tomatoey gums, Evi has discovered his fingers. A calming device to help with the changes he's currently going through.

Oh Evi you're becoming more and more vocal, trying to tell us everything on little baby mind, from 'it's poopey time' to 'I'm tired'! It's hilairious hearing sounds that give off faint likeness to actual words, we swear you've even said 'Muuuuum!' at one point too as you wake from your midday naps;)

Oh the joys of being a Mumma to a beautiful boy. I love each new day and especially love watching Evi find new things to talk about.

Earlier today I had the best first day on the job as a Photographer for an Entertainment Company. My first gig ever to Photograph a Bar Mitzvah. The fun was non-stop, the action never ending and the people so energetic!

Being at this event made me so excited for my own son to one day become his own person, all grown up and all. And as the day creeps into the evening, another day with more adventure is preparing itself for tomorrow.

Gosh, I love my life.

The joy a baby brings to your world

I love the small joys of Motherhood. One of which is gazing upon my Son as he transforms from a baby into a toddler. Although, only almost 4 months old he's showing signs of toddler hood already. Not to mention his sleep patterns have changed dramatically and now we enjoy a nice rounded 8-9 hours per night of slumber.

The joys of receiving every smile from this little man, warms my heart.
As of late, Everett has been a huge fan of 'The Wiggles'. Although we don't wish for our Son to be glued to a television or laptop for entertainment, it's nice to see him grow up around some Aussie cultured Programs haha!
And now we are experiencing his Drooling stage, where we'll look away for 2 minutes only to discover he's in a bath of drool as we turn our attention back to his drippy chin-pure baby style ;)

Restaurant Review: Classic American Restaurant!

Since we live on Long Island not too far from Manhattan, we get to indulge in all the convenience of being local to some of the world renown restaurants, markets, stores and theme parks!

I will admit, I'm a big buff of the TV Show: Kitchen Nightmares. With Gordon Ramsay's ratting out restaurants in their performance, their cuisine and essentially, their management with hope that he can fix restaurants nearing to closing down. I am a huge fan of Gordon Ramsay's- I've made some of his recipes, watched alot of his cooking shows and restaurant shows of his and even visited one of his restaurants which he's helped get back on their feet.

We visited Classic American Restaurant from Season 3 Episode 2 Kitchen Nightmares, located in West Babylon today about 20 mins drive from our apartment. It was exactly how it looked in the TV show, bright red, vibrant, made to order and having the most absolutely delicious Veggie Burger I think I've ever had!

Evi is hardly ever caught with a Binky in mouth these days- so as you can imagine it was a unique opportunity to capture this momentous moment! My Hubbzy, impressed with the restaurant and eager to watch the episode when we get home!

The Restaurant is more of a Cafe Set Up, the food exquisite and the staff friendly! Totally dig this place, can't wait to visit more of GR's Restaurant Makeovers:)
